STOLEN SPICED RUM
Inspired by ‘Coffee and Cigarettes’, the series of short films from Jim Jarmusch, we set out to create a sensory experience that fuels creative conversations.
The distillation and aging process takes place in the Caribbean where the rum matures in ex-bourbon oak barrels for a minimum of two years, before it is carefully blended by hand.
Then, we blend this rum with natural spices and oils – a method used in our handcrafted ‘tincture’ based approach. The best tinctures of each ingredient are sourced from around the world; in this rum, we use Fenugreek from Morocco, Vanilla Bean from Madagascar and Arabica Coffee Beans from Colombia.
The result is smoky toffee aromas on the nose, with a coffee, smoke and butterscotch finish in the mouth.
This rum is versatile, and can be used in all rum cocktails, as well as rye or bourbon based classics (but best served neat).
